Here’s yesterday’s show which was a rebroadcast from September 7, 2019
Here’s today’s show heard earlier today at www.thisishell.com and to be heard eventually on WNUR 89.3FM. Plenty of new tunes again including new music from Sunshine Boys, Watkins Family Hour and Lucinda Williams. We feature a Birthday salute to my daughter who turned 37 today, a mini concert calendar – Susan Werner and Dar Williams tomorrow – Sunday May 3rd at 6pm on Susan’s Facebook page and we finish things off with a Malo tune that was talked about earlier this week on the Steve Dahl Show. Enjoy.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the IL Stay-At-Home order, NU has shutdown its campus and building access except for emergency personnel. So, we won’t be broadcasting live any earlier than the weekend of April 11-12th.
We are trying to arrange to broadcast either archived shows or pre-recorded new content at wnur.org
For today, 3/21/20, we’ve pre-recorded at 2hr Breakfast with the Bagels which will air live at This is Hell.com. Thanks to Alex Jerri and Chuck Mertz for making this possible. Check out their show at that same site, streaming from 9am-1pm.
Here’s Saturday’s show as we adjust to a new normal.

Here’s yesterday’s show originally broadcast 7/27/19.
The transmitter was down for more than half of our show, but we soldiered on. Today, we started off the show with songs about memories and remembrances in honor of my 93 year’s old Aunt Lee who passed away on Thursday. We finished up our tribute with a set of Nat King Cole tunes, her favorite artist.
