BOTH KINDS 5/26/13

Here’s our show originally broadcast on Sunday April 28th, hosted by Kathy Kelly. For the second week in a row, we honor a fallen member of the Chicago Folk Scene. Kathy is joined by Chris Farrell to share stories about Earl Pionke, better known as the Earl of Old Town, who passed away two days earlier on April 26th. Last week also saw the passing of Richie Havens and you’ll hear some of Richie’s music during the show. Finally, you’ll catch the beginning of the show that follows us, “Both Kinds”. Al Finley honors the passing of country music icon George Jones.
